Maple Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- ¾ cup crushed maple sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Cream the butter and add both sugars gradually. Add the well-beaten eggs and water.
- Sift the flour and baking powder together and add to the first mixture. Add more flour if necessary. The dough should be soft enough to handle.
- Chill slightly. Roll out thin on a floured board and cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake in a quick oven (450°F) for about 10 minutes.
